Tom played Division III baseball at Farmingdale State College as a pitcher and outfielder. He was All-Conference 4 times, All-Region twice and an All-American in 2009. He holds the Farmingdale State College records in Wins, ERA, Strikeouts, Innings Pitched, Games Started and fewest walks per nine innings. He was a pitcher for the semi-pro team Long Island Storm and was an assistant coach for the Long Island Junior Ducks 14U team. Tom specializes in all aspects of the game for children of all ages.

For the past three years Jackie has helped coach the Dowling College Woman’s Softball Team. Currently she coaches a 14u travel team and was named the Half Hallow Hills East Assistant Varsity Softball Coach. A 2003 Walt Whitman High School graduate. Jackie has played competitive softball for over 10 years. She was a collegiate athlete at Briarcliffe College and Dowling College. Jackie has been a private softball instructor for 7 years. Jackie specializes in hitting, pitching and fielding for all ages.
John Roros, Soccer Instructor
Successful soccer player and instructor for over 20 years. John holds a Long Island Junior Soccer League “A” coaching license and the United State Soccer Federation “C” license. John has also received a Director of Coaching Diploma from the National Soccer Coaches Association of America. John has been a dedicated and popular private lesson instructor at WEST as well as a great instructor for our SoccerTots and Soccer Skills programs
Chad Ross, Head Baseball Instructor
Bret has been with WEST for nearly 4 years teaching baseball and soccer to children of all ages. He has been directly involved with our All Star Baseball program and our Baseball Bonanza camps at WEST. Bret has 7 years of coaching experience and focuses on hitting and fielding for children ages 6-8.

Chad's experience includes working as an instructor directly under the head coach at Farmingdale State College. He also worked for 2 years as the Assistant Head Coach/Hitting Instructor for the Phantoms, a 16u tournament college showcase team. Chad has been a private lesson instructor for over three years and specializes in drills for all defensive positions. His instuction will not only improve your hitting mechanics but also stresses a mental approach to hitting.
Tim broke in as the Harborfields High School Varsity Assistant Coach at the age of 19. In high school he was a four-year varsity starter and finished with a career .350 average and 75 RBIS and also earned a Gold-Glove selection as the best defensive 2nd basemen in Suffolk County. He has taught private lessons for over three years and his “disciplined aggression” approach to hitting has helped many young hitters excel across all levels.
